Manager of Operations & Program Services
The Manager of Program Services works in a team approach with HeartLove Place staff and requires a high level of communication and team management. The Manager of Program Services is a key role within the organization that will work to carry out and manage the operational and programmatic functions of the organizations programs, activities and services to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
The HeartLove Place Wellness Leader develops and leads wellness programs for youth, teens, and adults. This position leads weekly walking program for adults 18 and older. This position maintains and tracks participant progress; maintains participant data and impact; and prepares reports as required on program progress and outcomes. The Wellness Leader serves as a role model for participants, exhibiting good fitness and wellness habits.
The HeartLove Place Culinary Instructor provides instruction in both theory and laboratory work in areas to include, but not limited to: Food Preparation, Baking, Restaurant Operations, Sanitation, Purchasing, Beverage Operations, and Catering. The Culinary Instructor teaches courses in accordance with the text book curriculum, the course outline, and the schedule of classes. The Culinary Instructor prepares classroom presentations, student activities, and assignments. This position evaluates student performance and prepares students for ServSafe examination to maintains at least 75% of participants passing the exam. The Culinary Instructor manages the program budget and maintains current and accurate records of class attendance, grades, and other information as required. The Culinary Instructor also works with Family Resource Center staff to assist participants in obtaining employment in the food industry, and works with kitchen staff to cater events as required, incorporating students.
Food Service Manager
The HeartLove Place Food Service Manager will be responsible for the management all food related services and initiatives. This includes but is not limited to the School Meal, Summer Meal programs, catering and food service training programs. As the Food Service Manager, you will be responsible for planning, directing and controlling all unit food service operations and using available resources to meet operating and financial goals.
