Taste of the Garden & Line Dancing
Friday, August 7 · 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
On August 7, HLP Peace Park Garden came alive with fresh flavors straight from the soil and music that got everybody moving. Community members sampled what we grew together, then joined neighbors on the grass for line dancing as the sun set over Ring Street and MLK Drive. Adults only — a great time was had by all!

26th Annual Back to School Family Rally
Saturday, August 22 · 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Children started the school year fully supported with free backpacks, school supplies, food, and connections that last beyond the first bell. Since 1989, HeartLove Place has shown up for Milwaukee families — no judgment, no barriers, just love in action. The rally was FREE at 1915 N. MLK Jr. Drive (YWCA parking lot). No one left empty-handed!

Annual Walk-A-Thon 2026
Our 6th annual community walkathon! Walkers, sponsors, and donors came together to support HeartLove Place's mission to uplift Milwaukee families.
