So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. - Galatians 6:10
About Peace Park Garden
Peace Park Garden is located on N. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive and W. Ring Street in Milwaukee. The park will provide a beautiful piece of land, fruits & veggies for residents, and a space to have events and programs for the whole family!! The help is needed to get this park up and running. Please let us know how you can help!
Want to learn how to garden for the upcoming season at The Peace Park? Ms. Dorothy shows you how! Every Monday we will be releasing a new gardening workshop video. These videos will give you insights, tips, tricks, and information on how to grow, nurture, and enjoy a garden.
Have a topic you would like Miss. Dorothy to discuss? Let us know by filling out the form here.
Watch our most recent workshop from 2-28-2022 below or see our past workshops on our YouTube channel here.
This week we'll be doing at home early gardening and DIY mini greenhouses.
Volunteer at the Peace Park!
We need your help to get the Peace Park and Garden up and running for the summer! Are you a resident in the area? This is an excellent way to contribute to your neighborhood! Each week, we will share music, food, fellowship, and fun while we tend to the garden, learn about the how to grow fresh food and how to cook it to maintain a healthy lifestyle. All ages are welcome and encouraged to volunteer. Children under the age of 9 must be accompanied by an adult.
Be sure to check out our fun-filled calendar of events to be held at the Peace Park throughout the Summer!
HeartLove Place would like to give a special thank you to the American Family Dreams Foundation that awarded us a $5,000 grant to our Peace Park Garden program. This grant shows American Family's dedication to their communities and the people within them.
